Biore UV Aqua Rich | Review, Skincare Diaries

Biore UV
So summer is officially here and that increases the usage of sunscreen in our skincare routines. Today I'll share Biore UV Aqua Rich sunscreen with you guys. Sunscreen is one of the most crucial skincare products of all times. I won't lie to you guys, until few years back I thought sunscreens are for summers only. As I garnered more knowledge, met with dermatologists, read resources, I realised the importance of this side of skincare. It's really important to protect your skin against harmful UV rays emitted from the sun. You may not see immediate adverse reaction but these rays cause slow deterioration of the skin, not to mention ageing. I tried a couple of sunscreens in the past, but my current favourite is Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence. I have been using it for a couple of months now and it is the right time to share my thoughts with you all. My requirement was of a sunscreen that wouldn't make my oily skin even more oily and leave a greasy layer. I picked this one up after seeing it on Cosme's Beauty Awards for 2015.

This sunscreen now features PA++++ with the same great benefits as before. It is a fresh sunscreen serum that blocks even intense UV rays. Despite the SPF50+ rating, it is lightweight, and easy to remove with a regular cleanser. Biore UV

My Experience

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence comes in a very basic yet convenient tube packaging with a screw top lid that locks with a click. As the name suggests, it's a water-based formula, which is great for oily/combination skin. It has an SPF of 50 with PA++++, which is the best. PA is a rating to measure the amount of protection a sunscreen provides, specifically against UVA rays. The more the + the better the protection. Now-a-days, sunscreens come with PA+, PA++, PA+++ and so on rankings. It is a milky, slightly runny, gel like formula. It is very quickly absorbed by the skin, even in these hot and humid summer days. It has been a great choice for my acne prone skin, I never got got a breakout because of this. I have been using it for the past 3-4 months now and I am definitely happy using it. Biore UV I wear it in the end of my skincare (before my makeup). I never feel the need to re-apply it but if you spend most of your day under direct sunlight, I recommend its re-application every 4-5 hours. It's very smooth to wear makeup on  and I've never really had a problem with this underneath my foundation. Biore UV
