Deviled Eggs
Hi Everybody! How is it going? I am super sad with this hot weather here, only relief is the humid part is gone or at least on a downfall. I like pleasant summers not scorching summers. Why is it that when we have summer we long for winter or rains and when we have the other we long back for summer again? Because too much of everything is disliked. Yeah, I know. So today's recipe is likely a very minimalist one with almost under 5-7 ingredients. Let's start with the ingredients:
  1. Boiled eggs—6 (there are more in the picture as I prepared them for a get together)
  2. Mayonaise— 2 tbsp
  3. Mustard sauce—1 tsp (depends on your taste, I like it mild)
  4. Salt and Pepper—seasoning
  5. Lemon juice—half lemon
  6. Onion, finely chopped—1 small
  7. Scallions (green onions), thinly chopped—for garnishing, optional
Method:
  1. Have your eggs hard-boiled. After peeling them cut them to halves, scoop out the yolks from all the eggs and put them in a large bowl.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients, spare few scallions for garnishing, and mix everything.
  3. Arrange the egg halves on a platter and fill up the yolk mixture in all of them.
  4. Garnish with some scallions on top and serve!
I hope you liked it and will give it a try soon, please share your comments with me, I love reading them. Thanks for stopping by! Love, AS
