Hi my beautiful friends!
Hope you all are having great time with winters, no pun intended. With us it has been a roller coaster ride with sun, rain, cold gusty winds, snowfalls, and the like. But that did not stop us from relaxing ourselves on this sunny Saturday while we decided to have our lunch out and spend the day in Ginza, the high-end fashion district of Tokyo while sneaking out for a few OOTD pictures making a fresh start of a new series, ‘Tokyo Diaries’. I will be sharing more of such posts in which I get to show you a bit of Tokyo from my day-outs or experiences. The first post of this series is Tokyo Diaries: Ginza | OOTD. Although in this post you will not see much of Ginza, I will make sure I add more of non-me pictures in my future posts. Hope you all enjoy it!
Coming back to the outfit, it is a very understated look with not much of a drama and an easy-going weekend vibe. I don’t like cold weather so I always end up wearing clothes in many layers to protect myself, as you can see. I went for a very basic look that is wearable and comfortable. Being a lover of black, white, grey and such colours, I paired my most worn dark-blue denim with a basic white shirt layering with a classic V-neck plane grey sweater.
It gets very windy in Tokyo despite of being sunny; hence, I always like to keep a warm and cozy scarf as that really curbs the chill and looks super stylish. Oversized scarves have been in trend for quite a while now and we all know why. In addition to being cozy they can instantly add life to any boring outfit and you can always switch ways of wearing them.
Finally, I added my most-favorite knee-length collarless coat to the layering game and slipped on my boots (BFF in Tokyo winters!!). After we were done with the so-called photo session we headed to one of the finest Indian restaurants in Ginza, Khyber and enjoyed great food in great company of hubs and friends!
